Derick Banks

a friendly guy who was born in Amsterdam and raised in several places throughout holland.
Derick started to catch up with his love for music right after he moved from Drenthe to the Maincity of Housemusic Rotterdam.
He had the luck that he came across so much different styles of people and their music. What attracted him the most was house music.
After spending quite some time in the music scene as a leader of a promotion team Derick picked up the skills of deejaying by watching others.
After a while he decided to do it too. That was the start of a new talent!
Derick Banks is now busy making his own sound and doing remixes and tracks for & with several producers and deejays and it is paying off well.
He is still in his 1st year of creating music and is soon going towards his second.
And for a kid with that much skills in this short amount of time he is definently one of the guys to look out for in 2010 with his banging deep/tech soul & afro style and not to mention two of his first three releases will be released as EP’s!
